I am a Landlady. I have been with EmJen for several months now and what a journey we have had!  My circumstances changed and i decided to get a letting agent to manage my property for me.  After some research i went and met Emma and Jenny who own the company. Out of all the letting agents i spoke to, I decided that EmJen were right for me.

My tenants stopped paying their rent to me. Emma and Jenny were talking to the tenants to see if they could resolve this issue. Unfortunately, after 2 months of talking we had to issue them a section 21.  Emma and Jenny were very honest with me on how long this could take and helped me with all the paperwork and made sure it was correct for the court.  So after sometime the tenants were evicted. It was very stressful for me. Emma and Jenny would ring me to make sure I was ok and we would have regular meetings.

So after the property was redecorated within 6 weeks EmJen found me a new tenant.

Don’t know where to start with this review, I’ve never come across such amazing women let alone estate agents as EmJen before.

I was at the end of my tether, the current renting situation is so tough and working full time doesn’t help. I had extra hurdles to get over as I was relocating due to domestic violence.

I’d lost everything including my confidence, and thought after yet another blow I would end up homeless.

These amazing ladies didn’t shy away from me. On meeting me for the first time at the viewing, I broke down and told them everything, but infact they took it all on board and worked with me to secure the property including liaison with the council to help my situation and get me moved as soon as possible.

It’s took me a while to write this as I still cannot believe there kindness and compassion which is not words that genuinely go together with estate agents, and being in my new home where I’m safe thinking about how above and beyond they was makes me overwhelmed with emotion.
